Red, White, and Blueberry Shortcake

Perfect summer time dessert!

Cook time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

-1lb fresh strawberries
-1lb fresh blueberries
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-Whipped cream
-Betty Crocker Super Moist Vanilla Cake Mix
-3 eggs
-1/3 cup vegetable oil
-1 1/4 cups water

Directions:

-Cut strawberries into quarters. Place strawberries and blueberries in medium bowl. Add sugar and stir. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours until syrup forms. (For best results, refrigerate overnight)
-Heat oven to 350°F. Beat cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in large bowl about 2 minutes until well mixed.
-Coat baking dish with cooking spray. Pour mix. Bake for 30 minutes until edges are brown and toothpick comes out clean.
-Serve with whipped cream and fresh fruit.
